On April 7, 1997, the 25th Health Day, the Korean government honored the late Chairman Yunho Lee with a Posthumous Award of the Moranjang Order of Civil Merit. The late Chairman Yunho Lee succeeded in cultivating aloe in 1976 and founded NAMYANG ALOE to lead the Korean health functional food industry. In 1988, he established KHSA (Korea Health Supplements Association) and contributed to social development through "improvement of national health."
